BTF Plays! Presents James and the Giant Peach
Wednesdays-Saturdays, June 28-July 22, 11 a.m.
James was stuck with his horribly selfish and hopelessly lazy aunts, Spiker and Sponge. But when a peach is magically transformed into a giant movable dwelling, James is off on a sweet adventure with his new insect friends. Roald Dahl’s classic book is dramatized by Richard R. George.

Grumbling Gryphons Presents Anansi the Trickster Spider
Saturday, July 29, 11 a.m., and Sunday, July 30, 2 p.m
Anansi, the hilarious part-man, part-spider Trickster, helps to rescue all the stories of the world from the greedy sky god, Nyame. The award-winning Grumbling Gryphons use brilliant masks and costumes to bring this West African folktale to life, with help from the children in the audience who act, sing, chant, and play musical instruments.

Marmalade Productions Presents Maggie’s Garden
Wednesday, August 9-Saturday, August 12, 11 a.m.
Watch Robin plant a garden with her best friend, a six-foot horse named Maggie. Vegetables talk and worms dance as Maggie and Robin learn that carrots and potatoes grow underground and that frogs and newts can be a gardener’s best friend.

Berkshire Children’s Theatre Presents Charlotte’s Web
Wednesday, August 16-Saturday, August 19, 11 a.m.
Children of all ages from our own community perform the classic tale about the unlikely friendship of a spider and a pig. Watch as Wilbur and Charlotte become fast friends and work together to overcome obstacles in this heartwarming story.

Youth Alive!
Saturday, August 26, 11 a.m.
Experience the syncopated drumming and beautiful choreography of African-American dance through Pittsfield’s own “Youth Alive,” Step Dance troupe. Children in the Museum’s summer Step Dance Camp will perform an opening
