Visit The Cloisters and Wave Hill on a day devoted to art and nature.
With 28-acres of gardens, grounds and woodland explore the award-winning
landscapes of Wave Hill renowned for their intimacy of scale and
carefully cultivated serendipity. Dedicated to the art and architecture
of medieval Europe, the gardens of The Cloisters are treasures themselves.
Our visit includes viewing tapestries, illuminated manuscripts,
stained glass and more.
Bird
Songs for Novice Birders

Listen to songs and calls of area birds with naturalist, David St.
James and Curator of Natural History, Thom Smith who will be your
guides on a leisurely walk for birders of all ages and experience
levels.

Wild and Edible

$10 Members, $15 Non-members
Native Americans and early colonial settlers relied on wild growing
plants for survival. An easy walk will bring us to areas where we
can examine these plants in their native habitats and discuss how
they were important sources of food and medicine, and how they were
used to create clothing and dye. For all ages and experience levels.

History of the Berkshires

Take a stroll through the woods to learn why Berkshire County is
home to rare and endangered plants found nowhere else in the state.
See natural features that inspire artists and writers, and discover
Southern New England's wild land first-hand. For all ages and experience
levels.
