Requesting Resource Books

There’s a quick and easy way to access the resource books for each Living Landscapes lesson! All of the books listed as resources can be requested on-line or at your local library using the Central/Western Massachusetts Automated Resource Sharing (C/W MARS) system.

Go to the online library catalog, C/W MARS , and choose whether you would like to search by the book’s

, , or .

For example, if you wanted to find Paul Showers’ book, The Listening Walk, you could search by title. With a title search, the C/W MARS system will list all the relevant titles.

Click on the title that matches the book you want. You will get a complete list of libraries where the book can be found. If none of the libraries are local, you can make an on-line request for the book by clicking on the orange button at the top of the page.

By simply entering your library card number and designating a pickup location, you can make this online request and pick up the book at the library most convenient for you!
