Dear Friend of the Berkshire Museum,
It is with great pleasure that I announce that the Berkshire Museum’s long awaited and much anticipated climate control project begins construction in summer 2007. By the summer of 2008 you will enjoy a cool oasis in the Berkshire Museum galleries while you view for the first time fascinating objects from the museum’s “hidden” art, history, and natural science collections, many of which have been in storage for years to protect them from damaging fluctuations in heat and humidity.

Also in 2008 we unveil the Feigenbaum Hall of Innovation, an ever-changing interactive exhibition highlighting the innovations and innovators of the Berkshires that have made a profound impact on the world.

We are now in the final stretch toward our fundraising goal of $9 million. Now we need your help to complete the capital campaign. Please make your pledge today and help prepare the Berkshire Museum for its next successful century of service to families of our region and beyond.

Sincerely,
Stuart A. Chase, Executive Director
